Job Description:

As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision for a dynamic data product. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business user group, ensuring alignment, transparency, and successful delivery. Take charge of the product roadmap, influence key decision-makers, and maximize the value delivered by the agile team. With your expertise, you'll ensure the product backlog reflects the priorities of the business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, align, and drive the vision for the data product.
• Foster alignment and transparency with stakeholders across the business user group.
• Own the development of the product roadmap and gain buy-in from key decision-makers.
• Maximize the value delivered by the agile team.
• Manage the team backlog and ensure its visibility, transparency, and clarity.
• Prioritize the backlog to reflect the business stakeholders' priorities.
• Collaborate in breaking down features and user stories during sprint planning.
• Assist in defining acceptance criteria and accepting stories.
• Coordinate with other teams to manage dependencies and priorities at the platform level.
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• Strong track record of working with Agile Delivery Teams and utilizing Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Solid experience in data or data systems, including integration, database/data-warehousing, or business intelligence, with a focus on customer outcomes.
• Preferred experience in life insurance and/or investment/superannuation platforms.
